A monthly open mic event. Welcome poets, writers, and artists of Vallejo. My name is Ray, and I am your host of I NEED A MIC OPEN MIC.
This is more than just a stage — it’s a space. A space where voices rise, stories breathe, and truth finds its rhythm. Whether you carry poems in your chest, songs in your spirit, or stories that have been waiting for the right moment — this is your invitation.
We gather not just to perform, but to connect. To celebrate the raw, the real, and the unapologetically human art of expression. Every voice matters here. Every perspective adds to the pulse of this room.
But understand — this is a space built on respect. While we welcome passion, depth, and honesty, we do not tolerate hate, disrespect, or harmful rhetoric. Heavy political agendas that divide rather than inspire have no place here.This stage is for expression, not oppression.
