Welcome Poets and Poetry Lovers!
We want you to jump right into poetry community here in Solano County! You are welcome to perform your poetry or just come and listen. Our county is abundant with spoken word open mics. Four of our cities have poets laureate who are hard at work organizing events for poets and the public alike.
We encourage you to join our mailing list to stay updated on performance and publication opportunities, connect with other poets, and find out where you can join in the fun. The mailing list is updated more frequently than this website.
We share poetry anthology calls, local and online events, and much more on our Google Group email list all in the hopes that associated poets will grow in their poetic experience and accomplishments. All poets are welcome to join. You do not need to reside in Vallejo or Solano County, though posts regarding upcoming events may be most relevant to San Francisco Bay Area poets and spoken word artists.
